If you own a Moto G8, Moto G8 Power, or LG V50 ThinQ and have been itching to try out a closer-to-stock version of Android 10, well, you now can. Unofficial ports of LineageOS 17.1 are available for all three devices.
LG V50 ThinQ
The unofficial build of LineageOS 17.1 for the LG V50 ThinQ comes courtesy of XDA Recognized Developer SGCMarkus. This is the first-ever custom ROM for the LG V50 ThinQ, in fact, and it appears to be mostly stable, with most basic functionality like calling, data, Wi-Fi, camera, fingerprint reader, and so on working. The only major issue is that VoLTE/VoWiFI is not working, which is problematic if you plan to use device on T-Mobile and AT&T in the U.S. in the long-term. Not all models of the LG V50 can even be bootloader unlocked in the first place, but the developer reports that the build should work on the LMV500EM (UK), LMV500N (international unlocked), and LMV450 models, though not all have been tested.

Moto G8/Moto G Fast (rav)
The Moto G8 has also received an unofficial working build of LineageOS 17.1 thanks to XDA Junior Member asineth, with significant contributions from developers vache and kjjnob. Features like display, touch, calling, VoLTE, data, speaker, Moto Actions, etc. are reportedly working fine. However, Bluetooth audio, vibration motor, and the stock wallpaper animation appear to be broken at the moment. The ROM needs to be flashed via the Fastboot interface, so be sure to have the latest ADB and Fastboot binaries installed on your PC. For those interested in using Magisk, the developer recommends flashing Magisk v20.4 by temporarily booting into TWRP via Fastboot.
The same developer has also ported an unofficial build of the Pixel Experience ROM for the Moto G8. The flashing method is the same as the unofficial LineageOS 17.1 build — using Fastboot. However, there’s no need to flash a Gapps package since the ROM itself includes them along with all Pixel-specific goodies. Moto G8 Power/Moto G Power (sofia)
Last month, the Moto G8 Power received its first custom ROM in the form of OmniROM along with a working build of TWRP, courtesy of XDA Recognized Developer vache. Now, XDA Junior Member asineth has built unofficial ports of LineageOS 17.1 and Pixel Experience ROM, offering Moto G8 Power users two new custom ROMs to try out. The same bugs mentioned above apply here, meaning Bluetooth audio, stock wallpaper animation, and vibration motor are broken.
Before you proceed to install either ROM, make sure your phone is bootloader unlocked and you have access to the PC with the latest Fastboot binaries installed. For more details, head over to the linked threads below.
